Tony Bonnici Last updated at 4:54AM, June 11 2015 A former production manager who joined a Kurdish foreign brigade is believed to be the first American volunteer to die fighting Islamic State (Isis). Keith Broomfield, 36, from Massachusetts, quit his family’s manufacturing company to sign up with the Kurdish YPG in Syria.
He is reported to have died more than a week ago during a battle near the border town of Kobani. Mr Broomfield joined the group in late February and was assigned the nom de guerre Gelhat Raman, said Nasser Haji, an YPG official.
BEIRUT (AP) — The body of an American who died fighting with Kurdish forces against the Islamic State group in Syria was handed over on Thursday to his family at a Turkish border crossing, a Kurdish official said.

Broomfield, from Massachusetts, died on June 3 in battle in a Syrian village near Kobani, making him likely the first U.S. citizen to die fighting alongside Kurds against the Islamic State group.
He had joined the People's Protection Units known as the YPG on Feb. 24 under the nom de guerre Gelhat Rumet. The YPG are the main Kurdish guerrilla battling the Islamic State group in Syria.
The U.S. Department of State confirmed Broomfield's death Wednesday but declined to provide any details about the circumstances.
It was not immediately clear who from Broomfield's family was there to receive his body on the Turkish side Thursday. Kurds in Turkey lined the road, waving flags and applauding as the convoy carrying the body drove by.

They said they hope his body will be brought back to the U.S. on Saturday.
Broomfield's older brother, Andy, said he was shocked when his brother first told him about his plans but eventually understood his decisions.
"He believed in opposing evil," he said. "Somebody needs to stand up and oppose evil."
His father, Tom Broomfield, said Keith Broomfield went to Syria with no contacts and knew it was "a crazy thing to do" but felt strongly that he needed to help in some way.
"He just felt he should be going," Tom Broomfield said.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which keeps track of Syria's war, said more than 400 foreign fighters have joined the YPG to fight the Islamic State group in recent months, including Europeans, Americans, Australian and thousands of Kurdish fighters from Turkey and Iran. It was not possible to independently confirm the figure.
Many are spurred on by Kurdish social media campaigners and a sense of duty rooted in the 2003 U.S.-led military invasion of Iraq, where Islamic State fighters recently have rolled back gains U.S. troops had made.
Previously, a British citizen, an Australian and a German woman were killed fighting with the Kurds.
The YPG on Thursday posted a video that showed Broomfield saying he was in Syria "to do what I can to help Kurdistan. With everything that's been going on, it seems like the right thing to do."

A YPG statement posted on the group's website said he had a great desire to learn the Kurdish language and understand Kurdish ideology
Backed by U.S.-led coalition airstrikes, Kurdish YPG fighters in Syria have successfully pushed back Islamic State group militants from Kobani and scores of nearby villages. More recently, they have closed in on the Islamic State-held town of Tal Abyad, near the Turkish border. The town is the Islamic State group's main access point to Turkey from Raqqa, the group's de facto capital in Syria.
On Thursday, the Kurdish fighters continued advancing toward the northern Syrian town of Tal Abyad, capturing parts of the nearby town of Suluk, the Observatory and YPG said. The fighting in the area has sent thousands of people fleeing into neighboring Turkey in recent days.

My friend, Jack McLamb, passed away. Without a doubt, Jack was one of the staunchest allies that liberty and constitutional government ever had. He was doing it and saying it a long time before most of us were even thinking about it. Jack was top shelf, one of the best. He will not be easily replaced.
Jack McLamb was a retired Phoenix, Arizona, police officer. He is still today the most decorated policeman in the State of Arizona. And just about every time that Jack would reference that honor, he would add, “I was also the most fired.” I think he was more proud of the second distinction than the first.
Jack McLamb was the originator of the “Officer Friendly” program where policemen would visit schoolchildren in the classroom. He was an Arizona Regional Police Academy Instructor and a hostage negotiator for the FBI. He was the publisher of “Aid & Abet” newsletter, and president of The American Citizens & Lawmen Association. He was also the author of Operation Vampire Killer 2000, which, in many respects, was years ahead of its time. Jack was an Oath Keeper and before Oath Keepers came along, Jack headed a national organization called Military and Police Against The New World Order. He was also a Vietnam veteran.

Not only was Jack McLamb a man of the utmost honesty and integrity, he was absolutely fearless. Whether the criminals were drug dealers or government officials (yes, sometimes those two are one and the same), Jack McLamb was willing to confront them both. He is the only notable law enforcement officer I can remember who was willing to come to the public defense of Gordon Kahl, a man who I believe (and so did Jack) was murdered by the government--all of the government’s accusations against Mr. Kahl notwithstanding.
In fact, Jack spent seven years trying to get Mr. Kahl’s body exhumed so it could be examined by an independent forensic pathologist in order to prove the government murdered him.
In private, Jack was an extremely polite, quiet, and respectful gentleman. Quite frankly, I do not know if I have ever met a nicer man. Though we communicated with each other from time to time, the last time I actually saw Jack was in 2008 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., where both he and I spoke at a giant Ron Paul rally in front of 25,000 people. I could tell his body was wearing down from the serious injuries he had received in the line of duty, but he still had that same gleam in his eye and smile on his face that he always had. What a guy!

I found out about Jack’s passing last Saturday evening. He had passed away earlier that same day. My heart was so heavy that I prepared a special message honoring Jack McLamb. I delivered that message last Sunday afternoon to the people of Liberty Fellowship. I believe this message needs to be heard by all of my brothers and sisters in the greater patriot family. Jack McLamb is among an elite few who have been on the front lines of the freedom fight longer than most people even knew there was a freedom fight. He, like the rest of us, had to prove the sincerity of his convictions by paying a heavy price for his place at the front. Thankfully, there are still many such men with us. Should I attempt to list them now, I might commit sacrilege by unwittingly omitting one of them, so I will refrain from the temptation. If you are awake, you already know who many of them are. If you are new to the freedom fight, just know that you are walking in the footsteps of giants.
I consider myself among the youngest (and the least) of these patriot fathers. It is extremely difficult to see them go. These are the men and women who, humanly speaking, have thus far saved our republic. Without them, our country would have already slipped over the precipice into abject tyranny.
The clarion call now is for hundreds, and, yes, thousands of Joshuas to “arise, go over this Jordan.” (Joshua 1:2) After all that Moses did for the children of Israel, he never got to personally lead them into the Promised Land. Heroes such as Jack McLamb, likewise, didn’t live to see their people delivered from the shackles of the globalists and socialists that currently infest this land. I might not live to see it either. No matter! The legacy they have left will live forever.
A personal observation is fitting at this point: I can say with absolute certainty that the level of awareness regarding the principles of liberty and constitutional government is higher today than it has been in my entire adult life. Without any semblance of hyperbole, I can assure you that there are far more people awake and aware today than in 2008 when I was travelling the length and breadth of America as the Constitution Party’s nominee for President. FAR MORE!
I believe we are in the beginning throes of a revival of liberty the likes of which has not been seen since the days of Washington and Jefferson. Unfortunately, this is not due to much help from America’s pulpits. Unlike the Colonial pulpit, the American pulpit today is the biggest reason why our people are asleep. Instead of being a force for liberty and freedom, most pulpits are the major source of sheepishness and servitude.
No, it hasn’t been America’s pulpits that have spawned this revival of liberty. It has been men such as Jack McLamb. God will not allow the voice of liberty to be silent. If His shepherds will not lift their voices as a trumpet, God will raise up voices from other quarters to sound the alarm. Thankfully, God is not dependent upon preachers--for anything. Time and again, the Lord God bypassed the majority of preachers to raise up men outside the camp to thunder forth the call for liberty. And that is exactly what God is doing today.
Men who are stuck in, or enamored with, traditionalism, conventionalism, and materialism are being replaced with daring, courageous champions of truth who are raising a standard outside the traditional and the conventional. Institutional men today are mostly part of the problem. Many, if not most, of our historic institutions today resemble cages more than they do lighthouses. The Church, especially.
Let me speak plainly: the 501c3 establishment church is dead! It is a rotting corpse filled with dead men’s bones. And those who have ears to hear the truth are leaving these tombs by the droves. And not a minute too soon. The liberties of our country are hanging by the thinnest of threads. And until the pulpits of America have a Damascus Road experience that awakens them to the truth that they are personally contributing to the enslavement of the church, in much the same way that Saul of Tarsus contributed to the enslavement of the early church, God will continue to raise up courageous champions from every quarter of society to be His watchmen. Jack McLamb was one of those watchmen.
Yes, we lost another Moses. But I am confident that I am addressing hundreds, if not thousands, of people right now whom God is calling to be a modern-day Joshua. To many of you who are reading this column right now, God is saying, “Arise, go over this Jordan.”
No, Jack McLamb cannot be replaced; but he can be followed. The enemies of freedom are hoping that the passing of all of the Jack McLambs out there will be the end of all of this rabble-rousing talk of liberty. But they are in for a rude awakening. I am convinced that with the passing of every Moses, God will raise up ten Joshuas.
Come on, Joshua. Lead your people once again to the Promised Land. Another Moses is gone. And soon we will lose another Moses--and another. The “children of the free” need a Joshua as much as they needed a Moses. Arise, oh Joshua, go over this Jordan!

Jason was not a perfect man but he may well have been the best hope for the State of Arizona to protect its borders, stand up to the cartels, Jason had a wealth of backbone.
What he wasn’t was a “neo-nazi” and those members of the press that run with that embarrass only themselves. The second idiotic story is about the need for Army units to dispose of dangerous ordnance Jason kept. It is claimed he had a couple of dozen of what we once called M79 grenades. When used in a launcher, such a weapon can cause a small explosion and even injure people. As a weapon, Marines found it nearly useless. Then again, the most common rounds were “inert,” so slow you could catch them with a baseball glove.
Work on those cover stories guys.

Miltary trucks are arriving at the murder scene in Arizona, The FBI, ICE, Homeland Security, State and local forces all there for what the news across the nation and the world had wrongly reported as a murder suicide involving a believed one time militant extremist.
The police press conference today, blaming the incident in domestic violence is a “cop out” as far as we are concerned. The police say the military has to be there because the “ammunition and ordinance” stored in the home was too confusing for normal people to deal with, like, perhaps, to “leave there” as they should.
An informant has revealed that the neighborhood schools were put on lock-down as the Police were in the process of securing the crime scene. If the Police really suspected that this was a domestic violence murder-suicide, why the school lock-down?
What Law Enforcement does not want the American public to realize is that the Mexican Cartels can operate with impunity in any American neighborhood and there is nothing law enforcement can do to protect the public. Once Americans realize that the Cartels can murder them, and their entire families in their own homes Americans will panic. Law enforcement is trying to prevent wide spread panic in the civilian population and potential racial reprisals against illegal aliens in the USA.
The chemical drums found may very well be rain water. After the Gabby Giffords shooting, Gabby and so many others, police statements along with military presence has become something of a signature we have begun to understand, the more departments and agencies, the further from the truth we get.
Our sources tell us that Jason Todd Ready, originally thought to be the killer, was an FBI Confidential Informant. But informing on what? White supremacists he was one time aligned with, the “occupy movement” he attempted to join or cartel drug smugglers that his organization, US Border Guards , has been working to stop.
Ready’s group, sometimes a few, sometimes Ready alone, military gear, armed to the teeth, patrolled the Arizona border with Mexico and publicly claimed to be putting a “dent” into cartel business.
Whether this is the reason for the deaths, now considered mass murder or some other reason, one potentially complex as any dealings with so many agencies can be, is the reason, only time will tell.
The possibilities now expand with every moment, drugs, weapons, diamonds, terrorists, local political payoffs , racially motivated killings, any of these, all of these are possible. What has happened is that a “murder/suicide” that would have rated a detective and coroner has now brought a military task force and every FBI agent from the region.
Why other members of the press missed the FBI agents, the military uniforms is testimony to how you can shoot a Federal judge or member of congress in broad daylight and stand trial unscathed. There is a smell in Arizona, millions in cartel money flowing in, Operation Fast and Furious running guns to drug terrorists with taxpayer money, government officials only inches away from millions of dollars that make the difference, a very thin difference between Arizona being part of the United States and a minor “outcropping” into “Gringoland” for billionaire cartels who have the wherewithal to test any and all, threats, money, it is all on the table.
Or is this just a family murder and a government with too much time on its hands?

Ready has long been a highly visible political activist and outspoken opponent to the open borders policy of the Obama administration. Possible hit by Mexican Drug Cartels.

Ready was running for the Sheriff’s position in Pinal County being vacated by current Sheriff Paul Babeu, on the platform issues of anti-drug and anti-illegal immigration. Ready was actively involved with the US Border Guard, a search and rescue group which assisted in the rescue of lost hikers and illegal immigrants in the desert. Ready also actively reported on the high volume of narcotics trafficking into the USA to the US Border Patrol and other Law Enforcement Agency’s.
The wide open US-Mexico Border was a very important issue for Mr. Ready, who feared not only drugs and illegal aliens entering the USA, but also Al Queada and other terrorist organizations.

Ready came to the national spotlight in his attempt to defend “Occupy” protesters in Phoenix from police reprisals. However, that relationship was not deemed to last.
Whatever could be said of Ready, he was a “Constitutionalist,” highly intelligent but quirky, quick to anger and had aliented many of his supporters.
This year, Ready approached Veterans Today, as have other candidates for sheriff and other offices in Arizona, for endorsement. That organization had decided to withhold any endorsements until political positions had become more clearly established and a candidate, both “constitutionalist” and electable, came to the forefront.
In 2006 Ready ran an unsuccessful campaign for a seat on the Mesa Arizona City Council. At one time Ready had been an entry level member of the National Socialist Movement, an official spokesman for the NSM stated that Ready had quit the organization almost 3 years ago, and was no longer involved with the organization.
The investigation is being handled by A multi-departmental task force, comprised of the Gilbert Arizona Police Department, the Maricopa County’s Office Attorney’s Criminal Investigations Division, and the FBI. Ready was also suspected to be an informant for the FBI.
Ready was also a former Marine.
It has been reported that 5 people have been killed 4 adults and a 2 year old toddler. The other victims have not yet been identified. There are no further details available at this time.
News Update: Unidentified chemicals were found upon the scene, the quantities and composition are unknown.
